Fender Flare Rebuild

Old truck, again. My original plan was to cut out and weld a replacement fender on there but I got hung up on welding near the gas tank. I'm aware I could have wrapped it in a special blanket or even removed it, but I'm kinda tired and trying to get stuff done.

The driver's side was pretty much gone. I used fiber Bondo to create a sort of overhang, measured out a piece from the replacement part I'd picked up, trimmed it for support and finished with more fiber and regular Bondo.

Found a company that makes touch up paint for vehicles and boom. I might grind it down and iron it out again at some point, I could definitely do better. But, it's my first swing and it's got grandpa fixed the boat vibes and I'm cool with it.

Of course I got sucked into some texture studies.
